This past Friday, December 4th, White Ribbon Alliance and CARE’s Mothers Day Every Day campaign brought together an impressive, bipartisan group of Congressional leaders and policy influencers to discuss global maternal and newborn health at a breakfast in Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s Dining Room. Together, members of the Mothers Day Every Day Advisory Committee and key legislative staff engaged in a productive discussion about how to accelerate progress on maternal and newborn health in 2010.
